Anthony represents a wide range of clients, assisting them with their business, estate planning, estate administration, and real estate related needs. Anthony aides his business clients in forming or purchasing a business. He provides estate planning to his clients by drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other advanced directives. Anthony also practices estate administration where he provides guidance to families of the deceased, getting their affairs in order, assisting in the payment of debts, and locating and distributing assets. Anthony also assists clients with their real estate related needs, including zoning issues, property tax, landlord-tenant disputes, mortgage foreclosure, and the sale or purchase of real estate.
Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Anthony served as a law clerk for Judge Thomas Alevizos in La Porte County Circuit Court, Judge Louis Rosenberg in Marion County Circuit Court, Judge Thomas J. Carroll in Marion Superior Court Six, and Justice Mark S. Massa of the Indiana Supreme Court. He also worked for two private law firms and for the Marion County Office of Corporation Counsel.
Admissions & Memberships
Anthony is admitted to practice in all Indiana State Courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the La Porte County Bar Association.
Leadership & Recognition
Anthony is the Vice-Chair of the Lakefront Career Network, the young professionals group of the Michigan City Chamber of Commerce. He is a mentor for Hours for Ours, volunteers as a judge in the LaPorte County Teen Court Program, and serves on the board of the Barker Woods Enrichment Center. In 2017 he was selected as one of Northwest Indiana Times’ top 20 under 40.
A native of Michigan City and graduate of Michigan City High School, Anthony won the 2006 Indiana High School State Golf Championship. Anthony went on to play golf at Ball State, where he served as team captain his senior season.
