Rachel practices in family law and has experience in its many iterations: divorce, legal separation, paternity, child custody, parenting time disputes, child support, guardianship, grandparent visitation action, and protective order proceedings. Rachel frequently serves as a Guardian Ad Litem, having been appointed by both fellow attorneys and courts. She also handles adoptions of various types. She represents juveniles charged with various offenses in juvenile delinquency proceedings and parents who face the Department of Child Services in CHINS (Child in Need of Services Proceedings). She assists governmental agencies and boards with administrative and management issues and undertakes trademark applications for clients from time to time. She currently serves LaPorte County as a facilitator for dual status team meetings and previously served as a LaPorte County Public Defender for 11 years.
