Kristina practices in the area of family law, representing clients in domestic relations matters involving dissolution of marriage, legal separation, paternity, child custody, parenting time disputes, child support, guardianships, grandparent visitation actions, protective order proceedings, and appellate proceedings.
She also practices adoption law and has experience with various types of adoptions, including newborn adoptions, foster parent adoptions, stepparent adoptions, interstate adoptions, and finalizations of international adoptions.
In the health care sector, Kristina advises clients on health care regulations and has counseled various health care providers in conjunction with their regular operations. She also represents health care providers in medical malpractice claims as they arise.
Admissions & Memberships
Kristina is admitted to the bar in Indiana, and the Northern and Southern U.S. Districts of Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and the Indiana Supreme Court. Kristina is also a member of the La Porte County Bar Association and is a Past President.
Leadership & Recognition
Kristina serves as the Chairperson of the Planned Giving and Endowment Committee of the Foundation in support of Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital. She is also a volunteer judge for the Teen Court Program through the Youth Services Bureau, and serves on Dunebrook’s Board of Directors.
In 2014 and 2015, Kristina was recognized as a Rising Star in family law by Indiana Super Lawyer, which selects attorneys for recognition based on a multiphase selection process using peer nominations and independent research.
